BDF is an annual feminist festival of comics and illustration held in Rome, organized by the bookstore Libreria Tuba and hosted in the Pigneto district.

In this exhibition I explored how objects can tell a narrative experimenting with still life and composition as a means to explore various themes surrounding trans-feminism, one of the main theme being the reflection on social constructionism surrounding gender. Through my explorations I am celebrating the diversity of our unique identities and inventions pioneered by women as well as inventions that helped move our rights forward. Rather than commenting, I am inviting the audience to question and have a conversation about these issues and themes in a more playful manner.
