Ly Leova

about

Ly Leova is a Czech-Vietnamese illustrator, mixed-media director and 3D artist based between London and Prague, and a graduate of UAL, Camberwell College of Arts. Her practice spans virtual avatars, immersive 3D environments, animation, and visual work for music and digital performance.

Pushing the boundaries of illustration with emerging technologies, her work combines 3D, 2D, motion capture and XR to build playful, neon-futuristic worlds and surreal narrative spaces populated by expressive characters and symbolic objects. Blending whimsy and nostalgia, her practice is shaped by Vietnamese heritage, anime, street culture and retro game aesthetics, often exploring identity through a diasporic lens, reinterpreting familiar cultural rituals and pop iconography by adapting the cultures she lives within through an East Asian perspective.

Through her studio LYROID, she creates VTuber & virtual game avatars, interactive worlds, digital stages and virtual concert production for online performers, exploring new forms of identity, performance, and storytelling in virtual space.
